We see promises of Jesus Christ&#8217;s return throughout the Bible. 2 Peter 3:9 tells us that God is not slow in keeping promises of anything including His return. God is giving as many people as He can a chance to repent and be saved before the final day of judgement comes. 2 Peter 3:9 says, &#8220;The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.&#8221;. I am thankful for the gift of salvation and that God is giving us all a chance to accept Him.
