Jesus revealed His power and authority in many ways such as through miracles, healing and rising from the dead. Jesus came to save us from our sins. Salvation is not given through good works, \u201cNeither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12\u201d. I am thankful that Jesus gives salvation through the grace of a sovereign God who unites me to Him through faith. When Jesus was praying while He was on earth He wanted everyone to know God and Him personally. \u201cAnd this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. John 17:3\u201d. I am thankful that we can know God personally, \u201cFor there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 1 Timothy 2:5\u201d. It is great to know that Jesus Christ is enough, we don\u2019t need a priest, or friend to intercede on our behalf. All we need is God and Jesus Christ who He sent to pay for our sins.
