Jesus is the way!

There is one way to God and one key to heaven. Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven. Many of us work towards a perfect life saying, “I’m a good person”. But no one can go to heaven by works or living good lives. God gave his son for you! John 3:16.

Through, faith in Jesus we can have new life in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). The undeserved kindness of Christ (Romans 7:6) gives us all the chance to accept Him and through faith be saved.

2 Corinthians 5:17 – Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

Romans 7:6 But now we have been released from the Law, having died to that by which we were bound, so that we serve in newness of the Spirit and not in oldness of the letter.

The Fall of Man

Genesis 2:17 teaches us that God told Adam, not to eat from the “.. tree of the knowledge of good and evil,…” God tells them they will die, however when they later ate from it we note they don’t physically die rather suffer a spiritual death and separation from God. Adam and Eve had only known good but after eating from the tree they knew how to do evil. Love is a choice so God provided the chance for people to either love and obey Him or disobey. The first humans decided to disobey God and as a result they “sinned”. The sin meant that they spiritually died and were no longer the perfect creation God once made, it also is the reason later they would physically die rather than live forever. However, even though Adam and Eve sinned God had a plan that as in, “Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. (1 Corinthian 15:22).” What does that mean then? It, means that the fall of man did not interfere with God’s plan rather instead it provided a way for people to choose to freely love and obey God or disobey. It gave all creation a chance to enter into Heaven through Jesus Christ. If, mankind would not have sinned they very well would have remained in the garden of Eden forever. The plan of salvation and happiness of God may in fact have been that man would sin, be given the chance to repent (through Christ), then given the chance to die and live with God forever. Whether or not the fall of man was God’s plan it did not stop God’s plan! Sin in the Garden of Eden was defeated when the “…fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,… (Galatians 4:4).” Eternal life is given through the only true God and Jesus Christ who died to save us (John 17:3) through faith in Him. We can all stand before God without blame, without the blemish of sin, and without the fear of eternal death. All it takes to overcome spiritual death (or hell) is a choice and the only way to Heaven is through Jesus Christ. If, we all repent and put our faith in Jesus He saves us. May, we all know eternal life and “…the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent…(John 17:3).” Amen

Jesus paid the price

According to the Bible Jesus paid the price for our sins. After, he was betrayed by Judas to die on the cross the religious leaders tell us the money he received was, “…the price of blood”. Jesus was whipped and crucified on a Roman cross about 2,000 years ago for our sins, and by His “stripes ye were healed. (or saved) 1 Peter 2:24”. It is great news to know there is a God above that loves us so much that he died on the cross for us (John 3:16). May God Bless you, amen.

How did the universe come into existence?

Evolution is a very bad belief that some people have. If, you say that you are a Christian but you believe in evolution be careful not to so quickly reject God or the book of Genesis in favor of your own view. God, is greater than you or me. Christ, created the earth with a plan and purpose. The concept of the earth exploding into existence is wrong. If, you believe in Christ yet claim that you believe in evolution, be careful as you may be calling God a liar for “God can’t be mocked… Galatians 6:7”. God is not a liar, God is truth and love, Christ is truly the Lord of all Creation. Regardless, of what you believe God loves you and has His arms wide open to receive you as a “child of God” if you only believe in Him. Often, the fact of God creating the universe may be hard to understand yet the earth’s very existence is designed to point us to God. The, indisputable fact that the Earth, and Heaven’s exist rather than nothing points to a creator. God created everything including us and we are His masterpiece. Jesus loves all His children. God’s divine plan for mankind started in the book of Genesis, unfolded throughout sacred history and continues today.

Does God Ordain Evil?

We often have heard it said that God is responsible for evil. However, that is not the case. God has created us with the moral capacity to do both good and evil. If, God forced us to all do good then he would not be a good God. God loves us and allows us to make our own choices. That being said God does have a “perfect will” however, you should not conclude that he has an “imperfect will” too. God does not doom us to live out a life of misery and failure and frustration. God wants us to be transformed by the renewing of our mind (Romans 12:2). He wants to fulfill his purpose in us (Jeremiah 29:11). God is omniscient, and knows exactly what he can and will do in and through us. God desires the best for us. The heart of God is for him to fulfill his purpose in us and make us more like Jesus. God’s permissive will is what God allows to happen. Since, God does not ordain the evil of this world when someone dies God has allowed it to happen which is where permissive will comes into the picture. God knows all things and the end from the beginning. God desires for Christians to do there part to create Heaven on earth by living out his teachings (Philippians 1:27). Just as God created this earth and Heaven he will one day come back and create a New Heaven and new earth where mankind will once again be in 100% fellowship with him (Revelation 21:1).

Verses: Above all, you must live as citizens of heaven, conducting yourselves in a manner worthy of the Good News about Christ. Then, whether I come and see you again or only hear about you, I will know that you are standing together with one spirit and one purpose, fighting together for the faith, which is the Good News. – Philippians 1:27.

Body of Christ

1 Corinthians 12 teaches us that believers are part of the ‘body of Christ’, but what does that mean? It, means we are untied in Christ and part of the family of God. The fact He refers to us as His body is because we were made in His image and all believers are one in Christ. May God Bless You, Amen.
