Jesus had 12 disciples. He knew Judas would betray Him Matthew 26:24 says, “The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.”. “And as they sat and did eat, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, One of you who eateth with me shall betray me. Mark 14:18″. Even though Jesus knew He would be betrayed He put His life in the hands of God The Father. In Luke 22:42, Jesus said, ” remove this cup from me”. He was praying to God that if possible He would not have to die but He prayed if it is your will Father let it be made manifest. Jesus was 100% man and 100% God. Christ felt pain and worry. He knew God was with Him and he also loved His people so much that He was willing to die for them. The Gospel of Salvation is a wonderful message that God came in the flesh, lived among us, and died for us. He did all this so that we could someday God to Heaven. Praise God for His plan of redemption for everyone that accepts His message. Amen

Faith is Hope
We learn in Hebrews that faith is believing in the unseen (GOD), and faith is the evidence God is real. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1)”. We are considered right before God by faith (see Romans 4:5). We are not saved by obeying the law or we could say we earned it. However, faith is the unmerited favor of God and not something we earn. Ever since the fall of man/women in the garden of Eden men & women have faced a sin problem. We simply can’t obey God 100% of the time because we all sin. I am thankful that though we are sinful and evil (at least sometimes), God forgives our sins and daily sanctifies us. Amen
He Created All Things
Jesus created all things according to John 1:3 “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” Jesus created the Heavens and the earth. We see a picture of the trinity in Genesis 1:6 which says, “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”. Man did fall away after a while from God and because of Satan we have worries, death, and pain. The evil of this world is because man fell away from the glory of God. Even as Christians we are not exempt from experiencing hardships. The Bible does teach to trust in God and not to worry about the next day. When God is with us and even when we are hurting we can talk with him through prayer. He protects us and we can trust Him to help us with the worries of tomorrow. God is loving and comforting. Amen
Wrong Doing
We all make mistakes, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romains 3:23”. We can sometimes respond to worldly situations the wrong way because we begin to run low on Spirituality. Perhaps, this describes it best, “Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Galatians 6:1.” When we become slow to react to worldly situations it can harm the fruit of the spirit in our lives. We should be fruitful and helpful to family, friends, neighbors and also ourselves. Isaiah 1:18 tells us that, “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”. It is good news that God through His grace wipes our slate clean and forgives every mistake we make. The unmerited favor of God is wonderful. Amen
God is Peace
We learn from Matthew 6:30 when Jesus is speaking that our trust in God should provide peace of mind. “And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? Matthew 6:30 NLT”. When Jesus says one of little faith it is Him putting an emphasis on faith and encouraging us not to be overcome with worry. Like Hebrews 11:6 says, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6”. Even in the tough times God loves us and is here for us. God cares for little things like flowers and grass and we learn that He cares much more for us since we were created in “His image” (Genesis 1:27). Praise God for the relief He helps give through faith and the burdens He carries. Amen
Hearts
The Bible teaches us that we can find rest in Jesus (Matthew 11:29). Life can be hard but the strength the Lord Jesus provides can help us through it. “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Matthew 11:29”. The word heart appears close to one thousand times in the Bible. We should note the word heart is used to represent the core of what we are. it is a metaphor and almost always used that way in the Bible instead of a literal heart. When we trust in Jesus, “…the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Romans 5:5”. God knows our hearts and everything in them He loves us and has great plans for us (Jeremiah 29:11). Amen
Way to Heaven
We learn from Romans 10:9 that if we believe in Jesus and accept Him as Savior we will go to Heaven other verses such as 1 John 5:13 Jesus speaking offers assurance of eternal life “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. 1 John 5:13 NIV.” Then Bible passages such as John 3:16 teach us that God loves us and everyone so much that He died so that we could accept Him and be saved. If you have not made a decision to accept Jesus you should. The choice to accept Jesus is the most important choice you can make. Salvation through Jesus is a matter of eternal significance. Just do it, “…Stop doubting and believe…” Jesus in John 20:27b. We should walk by faith (not by sight 2 Corinthians 5:7). Jesus is the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Jesus, Hebrews 12:2), and can keep us at peace with God. He is the only way for salvation. “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. John 17:3”. Praise God that if we know Jesus we can be saved, it’s about knowing Him as the only true Lord and Savior. Amen
Bible Teaching
We are often taught by preachers about God’s word we learn from Acts 17:11, that we should search the scripture to see if the things a preacher teaches us are true. Everything should be tested according to God’s word. The Bible is the answer to life’s struggles and even when things look down God will never let us down. Always ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand and remember as you read. “But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you. John 14:26” Amen
God’s Loving
God is 100% loving, in fact He loved us so much that He gave Jesus Christ to die for us. “We love him, because he first loved us. 1 John 4:19”. The great part is not only did Jesus die but He rose from the dead and is alive today. Staying in the love of God does not mean we must behave ourselves or do works to merit salvation. God is not going to love us less when we sin, “God loves the sinner and hates the sin”. This means that we develop a strong trust in the love and mercy of God. How do we do this? Peter gives us the key — it is by faith in Jesus that we have hope and are able to live for God. God’s promises are real and provide a hope that understands that God is near us and with us even when we suffer. Living in a sinful world means we will experience hardships that may leave us stuck in grief, fear and insecurity, making us paralyzed and it’s hard to hold-on. However, through Jesus we can walk in victory and know that no matter how hard life is, God is holding us in His arms and with us when we suffer. I thank God for the victory in Christ Jesus. Amen
Happy in Jesus
In Philippians 4:11 Paul tells us that regardless of his circumstances he has learned to be happy with his life. God was developing fruit in his life, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Galatians 5:22”. God desires to do great works for us and His work is good and purposeful. We should not run from His work in our hearts but instead respond openly, willingly and obediently so that He might see and taste the fruits of His life in us. May God’s work in us and His love encourage us. Amen
