More Noble

Acts 17:11 says, “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” From that we learn it is important to study the Scripture to make sure if what we hear preached is true. We should also be ready in mind to hear what the Lord is speaking to us. Amen

God has Plans for Us

God said in Jeremiah 29:11 that He knows the plans He has for us, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” John 3:16 Tells us God loved us so much that He gave His life for us. “Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. Matthew 20:28”.

Be in Prayer

Philippians 4:6-7 says, “6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Jesus teaches us that tomorrow will take care of itself and Philippians teaches us that we should be in prayer and thankful to God for everything. God loves us and if our requests are in His will He will honor them. I’m thankful to God for his grace, mercy and love. Amen

Be strong and courageous

“Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:20. The Bible teaches us more than once that God is with us and will never leave us without comfort. “I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.” John 14:18. I’m thankful that God is present in our lives. Amen

Scripture Brings Strength

Philippians 4:13 teaches that God gives us strength to do anything we need. It, is God who brings strength (Isaiah 40:29) in all areas including the ones we are weak in God is strong (2 Corinthians 12:9). The Bible teaches us that it gives God glory when we trust in Him when we are weak, God never fails. Jesus taught “I will never leave you; never will I forsake you. “And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Matthew 28:20 ESV”. God even spoke in the Old Testament telling us, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV” “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Ephesians 6:10” The greatest choice we can make in life is to trust God. Jesus came so that we could be forgiven of ours sins, however that is not all God came to give us a better life. The only way to fulfill God’s purpose in our lives is to trust in Him. I’m thankful for God’s abundant grace and mercy, amen.

Eternal Life

Titus 1 and John 3 tells us that God promises eternal life to those that believe and has so since the world began. (See Titus 1:2; John 3:16). God had a plan when He made creation, and even though man fell in sin He provided a way to escape eternal punishment in hell. God provided a way to Heaven and that is through Jesus Christ and His preaching saves us (See Titus 1:3). May God bring; peace, love and mercy to you (See Titus 1:4).

Christ is not weak.

2 Corinthians 13:3-13:4 tells us that Christ is in us and is strong. When we are weak God will lift us up and work in us. The bible teaches us that God lives in our hearts (2 Corin. 13:5). Since God lives in us we should do our best to live how He would have us live. God is much stronger than us and will continue to help us grow in the faith. God loves us and we love Him because He, “First Loved Us (1 John 4:19)”.

ABC of Salvation

God is a loving God who desires for you to have eternal life but first we must recognize that we have a problem (admit it) then we must have faith in God (believe in Him) and lastly we must pray and accept Him as our savior (Confess).
Suggested Prayer: Jesus I know I am a sinner and I accept your sacrifice on the cross for my sins I now accept you as my Lord and Savior. I pray in faith. Amen.

After praying that prayer you can rejoice for you are now a member of the family of God and can be sure of life in Heaven. Now all you need to do is go and live your life for Jesus and sin less, and believe in Him always.

By Jesus’ Stripes…

1 Peter 2:24 teaches us that, “…by whose stripes ye were healed.” One might then ask, what does that mean? It means that through the floggings and beatings, (death, resurrection too) sufferings of Christ we have been saved. Jesus was beaten then crucified, then rose from the dead. It is through the sufferings and death of Christ we are “healed” of our sinful nature and given a chance to live a life of freedom and sin less then we do now. God has provided a way to be united with Him, through Jesus which is the only way to be saved. How, then does salvation come? It comes through faith, admitting we are sinners and allowing Christ to live in our hearts through the Holy Spirit as “..without faith it is impossible to please him…(Hebrews 11:6)” God is now asking (Acts 17:30) all people everywhere to repent and believe in Him. You, can pray to Jesus ask Him in your heart and accept His death and resurrection He died for you, he loves you and will give you salvation as a free gift just open your heart to Him. God Bless.

God is love

God’s effective love is equal. He is the very definition of love. The reason we love Him is because He first loved us (1 John 4:19). The only reason you or I exist is because God wants us to. He loves us all according to our needs. The more we need His strength and love the more He provides it for us. The more we enter into God’s heart the more our capacity to love grows. God completely and fully loves us.
