Knowing Christ

Jesus revealed His power and authority in many ways such as through miracles, healing and rising from the dead. Jesus came to save us from our sins. Salvation is not given through good works, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12”. I am thankful that Jesus gives salvation through the grace of a sovereign God who unites me to Him through faith. When Jesus was praying while He was on earth He wanted everyone to know God and Him personally. “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. John 17:3”. I am thankful that we can know God personally, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 1 Timothy 2:5”. It is great to know that Jesus Christ is enough, we don’t need a priest, or friend to intercede on our behalf. All we need is God and Jesus Christ who He sent to pay for our sins. Amen

Body of Christ

1 Corinthians 12 teaches us that believers are part of the ‘body of Christ’, but what does that mean? It, means we are untied in Christ and part of the family of God. The fact He refers to us as His body is because we were made in His image and all believers are one in Christ. May God Bless You, Amen.

Faith Like Children

The Bible teaches that we should humble ourselves in the faith just like children. We are all Children of God through faith in Jesus Christ. In Mark 10:14 Jesus says, “…Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.” I think Jesus is telling us in this passage that children often have unwavering faith in things. We should have the same faith, children were determined to seek Jesus. The Kingdom of God is made up of people with faith like children. All we must do is repent and believe and God’s grace is upon us. Praise God for making us like children in faith and saving us. Amen

Somebody

God made each one of us a somebody, we were created to be without sin but the first humans fell away. When Adam and Eve ate of the fruit in the garden sin entered the world. The lie of Satan was that if they eat of it they will become like God. This was only partly true; it did give humankind the ability to know good and evil. However, it did not make them like God as Christ is without sin. Any and all disobedience to God is sin. Genesis 1:27 says, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”. Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” The Good News is that Christ came to the earth about 2,000 years ago and gave His life so that if we believe in Him we are Saved. When we accept Jesus we are reborn and adopted into the family of God. Praise God for eternal life and the promise of Heaven. Amen

Roman’s Road

The ‘Romans Road to Salvation’ (KJV)

  • “As it is written, ‘There is none righteous, no, not one. …
  • “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23, KJV) …
  • “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23, KJV)
  • What does all this mean? 1. It means that we have all sinned. 2. It means that God is perfect and we fall short of His perfection. 3. That if we invite Jesus into our heart and life we have salvation and promise of Heaven after death.

He Guides

We should pray daily and seek God’s guidance. The Bible says, “Pray without ceasing. 1 Th. 5:17”. What does that mean? It means that we should walk with God daily. While it is impossible to pray without stopping, our lives should be like a prayer. We should trust in God to lead us and it will be like we are praying continuously as we follow His wise guidance. Matthew 28:20 says, “…I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”. That means that Jesus is always there. Jesus is our dear friend and Savior that died for us. Jesus promises that His spirit will never leave us. Praise God for His grace, love, and mercy. Amen

Jesus is Life

“John:11:25: Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: John:11:26: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? John:11:27: She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.” What does this conversation mean? It means Jesus is the Savior of the world, and through Him we are given new life in God. We are promised Heaven when we die which is what Jesus is saying as He is not saying our physical body will live forever on earth. Many believed in Jesus as Savior when they spoke to Him and saw the miracles which He did. Praise God for eternal life through Jesus. Amen

Dwells in Us

Jesus dwells in our hearts through the Holy Ghost. “All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it. 1 Corinthians 12:27 (NLT)” We as believers are part of Christ’s heavenly body. The body of believers is the church. The church is not a building, it is believers in Jesus. When we trust in Jesus and repent we are promised eternal life & God comes in our hearts. Praise God for His love & grace. Amen

Children of God

“All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it. 1 Corinthians 12:27 (NLT)” What does that verse mean? It means we are united with Christ as believers and Children of God. We should love one another as God’s children and we are the Body of Christ. John 12:47 says, “…whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.” We should do our best to be good people so that we can set an example to Non-Christians that God is good and that Christians can show love for others even those that don’t believe. Praise God for His grace and that we are Children of God. Amen

Perfect

Colossians 1:16 tells us that Jesus created everything it says, “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:” In reference to Jesus Micah 5:2 says, “… whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.””. So, these verses clearly teach us that Jesus existed before He was born of the virgin Mary. Jesus was and is God and has always existed. Jesus has always been perfect. Jesus is the only one who lived a perfect life. Since He is perfect He was the only one that could die for our sins. Praise God that Jesus saved us, Amen.
