Kingdom Of God

1 Corinthians 6:9 talks about inheriting the Kingdom of God. It encourages us to seek God’s forgiveness. Those that do those things Paul talks about will go to Hell if they don’t accept Jesus. Sometimes, people ignore this passage but we shouldn’t. Jesus often talked about the Kingdom of God. The idea of Eternal Life in the Kingdom of God is something that is not earned, just like an earthly kingdom it is passed on to God’s heirs. As believers we are heirs and promised life in Heaven when we die. Praise God for His grace and mercy. Amen

Disciple

Christians should be devoted to God knowing that Jesus is the only way to be saved. Acts 4:12 says, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” We should be disciples of Christ both in deed and in faith. God loves us deeply to the point that He sent His beloved son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. This act of love and grace is something that God wants our affection and allegiance to Him. This begins when our hearts seek after the things of God. As believers in Christ we should find ourselves devoted to Him and His plan for our life. We should be devoted to God’s truth and desire to flee from sin. James 4:17 says, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Praise God for His love, guidance and mercy. Amen

Walk With Him

We learn in both the Old Testament and New Testament of the Bible that God will never leave or forsake us. “Deuteronomy 31:6 ~ Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”” Jesus promised in Matthew 28:20 that He would always be with us. Jesus said, “I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.”. We should trust in God who knows the best for us and loves us more than we can imagine. When we trust God and let His Spirit lead us we are walking on the right path. When we walk with Him we are able to overcome many challenges and grow in knowledge of Him and His will. God has a plan for all of us. Amen

Jesus is Perfect

Jesus came to earth and died for our sins. Christ came as a humble servant who did not “cling” (Phil. 2:6), to His God-hood or boast of His perfect life. Jesus was 100% God in the flesh, and the only one worthy to die for our sins. The Lord asked us to love God with all our heart, mind and strength. It’s amazing that Jesus sums up the law perfectly, in loving God and everyone. The Bible teaches we love God because He loved us so much. In fact Christ loves us so much that He died on the cross because it was the only way to pay for our sins. Jesus was the only perfect person to ever walk on earth or in Heaven and through His blood we are forgiven. Amen

Sword

Scripture teaches us that “…the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword… – Hebrews 4:12” What does that mean? It means the Bible is living and active. We should follow God closely and know  that God is a “…discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. – Hebrews 4:12” God has infinite love for all His people He shows grace and impartiality. God is fair and provided a way to be saved through faith in Christ. Without Christ we can’t be saved but through Him we are united with God and guided by His Spirit. Praise God for His love and grace. Amen

The Kingdom

In today’s busy world it’s easy to get caught up in trying to make the most money or have the nicest things. However, Jesus wants us to be the kingdom. In Matthew 3:2 Jesus says, “…Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”. We should look to Jesus who is the creator of everything and the establisher of our faith. Hebrews 12:2 says, “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”. We should press into God and the Holy Spirit to guide us in our spiritual life when we are in our homes, workplaces or communities. Praise God for His grace and love. Amen

Heavenly Kingdom

Heaven is a Kingdom of itself different then the kingdoms of the world. In Philippians 3:20-21 we are told to live as if we are in the Kingdom of Heaven or Citizens to God’s Kingdom. What does this mean? It means when we accept Jesus we are adopted into the family of God. When God adopts us He makes us His beloved children and heirs of God. Many people are concerned with the things of this world, social status and other things. We sometimes look at people with judgement but Jesus warns us to be compassionate. Instead of trying to be the greatest person in the Kingdom of Heaven or have the greatest things we should simply trust in Jesus and serve others. We are to use our influence as believers and our resources to serve others. The greatest in Heaven are those who humble themselves like a child and are meek. “Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth” (Matthew 5:5).

Return of Christ

Matthew 24:36 says, “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” So from a Christian point of view we don’t know when Jesus is returning to earth. We should relax and be very patient as someday He will come back. Christ will return 1 Thessalonians 4:16 says, “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:’ So those that have died will rise from the dead and be raptured to Heaven. Those alive and on earth will also be raptured to Heaven. We are but a short time from personal doomsday. Heart attacks, war and other things point to a face-to-face return of Christ at any moment. Our Creator is ready to come back. Whether the return of Christ is soon or far away we should be ready but not panic. Praise God that He will come back for Christians. Amen

He Has A Plan

Luke 12:22-24 says, “Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. 23 For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. 24 Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds!”. God will provide for us when we trust in Him. Matthew 11:29 says, “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.”. It’s great news to know that in the midst of our struggles God will help us as long as we trust in Him. Even when we struggle and feel like God is not with us He is and will never turn His back on us. When we trust His Word and step towards Him we can press-into the plan God has for us. Praise God for His love, mercy and wonderful plans for us. Amen

He Loves Us

God loves us all and has mercy upon all those that believe and accept Him. Psalms 136:1 says, “O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.” We should focus our hearts on Jesus Christ and be thankful for His amazing grace. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.” Our Heavenly Father desires the best for us. Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” It’s great news to know that when we place our trust and hope in Him God will cause all things to work-out for the best. Life is not always easy but Jesus desires to take our burdens and is full of grace and mercy upon us. Praise God for His love, grace and mercy. Amen
