When we accept Jesus our sins are forgiven and we are purified before Christ. “I will forgive their iniquity, I will remember their sin no more.” Jer 31:34b. What does that mean? It means that the blood of Jesus is what makes us appear before God as without sin. The Bible teaches that if we don’t accept Jesus then the result of sin is death. When we receive Jesus we are reborn and a new person in Christ Jesus. Isaiah 1:18 says, “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Praise God that we are forgiven through Jesus Christ and His love for us.
