The Bible teaches (Ephesians 2:8–9) that we are saved by grace through faith. Grace is, “…not from yourselves, it is the gift of God”. John 1:16–17 says, “For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” Romans 6:4 teaches that  we are ” not  under law but under grace.” God’s grace is something we didn’t earn and don’t deserve. The only reason we do receive God’s grace and are worthy of it is because of Jesus Christ. We are not worthy on our own of God’s grace but Christ is and with Him in our hearts we are made worthy.
