My study and observation of Mark 2. It starts with a man of palsy being lowered into the house through the roof. They did this because it was crowded and there was no other way to get them to Jesus. Jesus tells them their sins are forgiven and heals them. This baffled the religious leaders who didn’t know Jesus was God so they said who besides God can forgive sins? Many of the apostles knew Jesus is the Messiah so they would not have questioned the forgiveness of sins and healing. If Jesus were not God forgiving sins would have been an evil act. However, since Jesus was God He had power on earth to forgive sins. Jesus lived a life without sin and in His own right was both equal to God & God. Praise God for His love. Amen
